So this week sometime between the 29th and the 30th of November the NVC will ship all petitions to the Embassy in Bogota.

I am so excited I can hardly wait!

I am trying to get an interview schedule for my fiancé in December.  Anyone else looking to schedule their interview in December?

Que se den rapido!

Sincerly,

Alfredo and Denisse

Sincerly,

Alfredo and Denisse

Hi. We just got our case number last night and we are super excited because it has been a very long wait (over a year now). I’m applying from Colombia and we are hoping to schedule the interview  next month. May I ask how you know they’ll be shipping applications this week? I hope they send ours. Thanks.

I read it here in the boards that "the NVC ships petitions every 2 weeks"...November shipped to Bogota November 13.  The next ship date was scheduled to be between the 27 and 28 of this month.  Due to the holiday of Thanksgiving they are moving the shipping one more day.  So calculate between November 28 and November 29.  It should get to Bogota on December 3rd.

The embassy appointments for December are pretty full.  Maybe get  an appointment for the beginning of January 2019.  I got this information from someone else who is ahead of me in the list and just got his appointment.

Sincerly,

Alfredo and Denisse

Yesterday, November 29th, CEAC changed the application status from In transit to READY.  I was worried and a bit excited.  I did not want to rush into something because i understood that most of the appointments for the month of December in Bogota were full.

Last night i caved in and check the AIS visa website and true enough...the  is an appointment ready for December 4th in the embassy in Bogota.  I do not think my fiance can make that appointment.  She still has not done medical, fingerprints and the like.  My huge worry is that there are no other appointments showing for the month of December....should i book that appointment and then move the appointment when she is done?  Or do i just not book the appointment wait a few more days?
