Hello vj member. I got my permanent residence  6months ago, and i want to visit Ghana next year, can it affect me when im applying for my citizen 3 years time. Some people are saying you have to stay in America 3years before you can apply citizenship. So please it means i cant travel outside united state within the 3years or what. Please im confuse.. can somebody give me clear ideas..thank you

Of course you can visit! You can't just stay outside of the country for too long! A two week trip won't harm you. They will start to ask questions if you stay for 6 months or more. I wouldn't stay for more than a few weeks outside of the US, though.
