Hey guys,

Anyone recommend a cheap civil surgeon in the los angeles area. I've called around and the lowest they've told me is 190 bucks and I've called about 13 doctors. Is this a good price or should I continue calling around. Anyone in the Los angeles area that can recommend a cheap CS?

Any and all help is appreciated.

Don't limit yourself to LA, or even CA.... phone around and you'll find civil surgeons who will allow you to mail your DS-3025 and they will transcribe it for you... for $10-40!! As long as you've had a full medical within the last year, don't let them talk you into any exams...

They are quoting prices for a full medical exam. K-1 holders only need the Vaccination supplement done which should cost no more than $40 or $50.

Explain this to the doctor, I brought a copy of the I-485 instructions with me, and pointed out in the instructions where it is explained that vaccination supplement is all that is needed.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

No you don't. You can go to your local health department to get your vaccinations and then bring your records to the CS. If the CS does it, you will pay through the nose.

You need to confirm if they include everything with that price. My doctor was $190 but was everything included (lab tests: HIV and others). Other doctors that we called was about $200 or even $300 plus lab tests! And if you need the X Ray because the doctor suspect that you need that test then will be an extra payment.

You could add that info in this thread if you want to, there's a list of good civil surgeons.
