Just for timing purposes...How long before did you get your passport and Visa after your interview in Sydney?

Most recent experiences preferred please...

I got my visa in the mail today. I live in Melbourne though. I'd say Perth or FNQ would take longer

Yeah from the consulate. I'm not sure why yours hasn't been posted yet but I'm sure it will be soon!

2 days in total. At the interview they say it can take up to 7 days due to background checks they do after the interview

You called the Consulate? (Aka call centre in Manila) for an update on where your passport is?

I never called anyone I got an email saying visa granted and being sent in the mail

When mine is posted it should still be next day (I'm in Perth metro area so express post has it within the range of next day guaranteed).  You can also track parcels that are express posted online with their tracking number.

 

I'm sure it will be fine but I'm really hoping it's soon so I can be back with my wife before our anniversary in early December, just waiting on the passport so I can book a flight out as soon as I have it.
