Timeline and dates noa1 to noa2 to interview

I’m US citizen Filed i130 for spouse in May, finally got Noa2 10/26/2018 now just waiting to see what happens next. Called NVC and they received petition but will not hear until 4-8 weeks just hoping others can share their timeline with dates and how long their process went and what to expect Thanks 😊😊😊

Well I'm in the same boat as you. The NVC received our petition 3 weeks ago (10/30/2018). In 1 week I plan to start calling up every 3 or 4 days to see if they have my new case number. Good luck!

I had called about 2 weeks ago they gave me no case number but just told me I would receive a welcome packet in 4-8 weeks, they just said it’s in processing but that I should be assured that it was received 11/2/18

Mine take six weeks meanwhile you guys should prepare doc for NVC level.

It took 6 weeks to receive packet after u got the approval letter? I was thinking the other day to start gathering stuff for packet, what exactly is needed?

From the date of my NOA2 letter, it took me six weeks to get the NVC welcome email to pay both fees. There will be no packet you have to submit all doc at CEAC online like scan doc upload.

Documents from USA (AOS)

1.      Tax returns (2015,2016,2017).

2.      Jobs W2s, Appointment letter etc.  

3.       i-864EZ or i-864 etc 

 

Documents from Pakistan

1.      Photographs 2X2 (2)

2.      Birth Certificate 

3.      Nikah Nama (Original, Nadar, English Translation) 

4.      Police Certificate.

5.      Passports Bio page scan copy

6.      DS-260 (have to fill online like your job detail and home address etc.

For some it takes few days and for some it takes a few weeks for me it took one-month cuz I by mistake uploaded my passport bio page in landscape instead of portrait. So try not to make any mistake if need any guideline  I will help you. So instead of wasting time you guys should prepare your doc. Like Photo as per USA requirement. Police Character certificate etc.

HII! just wanted to know if you had ur interview yet and how it went? 

I submitted documents the week of 12/22/18, I got an email 1/10/19 stating I must resubmit my tax papers for 2017 because a few pages were missing, I Have just uploaded them today now just waiting to hear for them! so anxious now lol hopefully all is good inshAllah!!🙏
