All I know about it is you can get really cheap airfares on Wow Air - and also its a really expensive place. Oh and if you go around winter time make sure you rent a 4WD and get insurance.

Beautiful and overall super nice country. Lots to do and see. Make sure you go there when it’s cold and winter so you can see the northern lights.

As mentioned, Airfare is cheap but everything else is outrageously expensive.

I lived there for 6 months on student exchange during my university days.

I’d go back there tomorrow if I could. Beautiful place, wonderful people. Cheap air fares there. But very expensive once you get there.

That’s what we are worried if its going ti super expensive..  but really want to those lights so I could take one thing off  my bucket list.. Also worried about my extension letter since I am filling next week.. I hope I get it on time.. I do remember you and I had Cr1 interviews almost at same time.. your roc journey has probably started :)

It is expensive but so worth it. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

I was an IR-1 as we had our second anniversary just before case complete at NVC so fortunately  I don’t have to go through the ROC nightmare! Good luck!
