but it really irks me that manila is spelled with double L in the timeline section

I was there in April and May of last year, and couldn't get anything done in the heat. Its supposed to be 95ºF here in California this week.

Manila paper oringally was made from manila hemp, from the Philippines, so it makes sense that it is spelled the same.

it was 40°C a couple of weeks back, i read

it feels gross outside right now

i doubt i'll ever miss the heat
