Request to bring petitioner to interview - no response

We used the embassy’s contact form to request that I (the USC petitioner) be allowed to enter the embassy with my husband on the day of his interview. We sent the message three weeks ago and his interview is in a few days, but we haven’t had a reply.

Just wondering if anyone else who’s done this got an email back?

My interview was two weeks ago in mumbai (india) and they did not allow my wife to enter with me inside the embassy. I think rules are sMe every where

Each embassy is different. You are answering in the United Kingdom forum about MUMBAI. ??

London allows spouses and fiancés in.

I'm not sure what to do at this point.

The names have likely been added to the list they have outside. Take the American passport and they will probably let your partners in anyway. My fiancé talked her way in and so have others.

Not sure when your interview is, but just to let you know they let me in with no issues!

I didn’t get the feeling I was on the list, but they just took my passport and confirmed I was his petitioner.

I was allowed to participate in both the document check and consular interview.

Good to hear! My fiancés interview is December 10th

I'm so nervous. How did the interview go? Were you approved?

Yes, my husband was approved! All of the staff were lovely and we were asked very few questions. It really is the easiest part of this whole process. Best of luck with your interview!
