hello guys i filed for adjustment of status and ead card in july 30, i had my biometrics taken in september 4. i was just wondering if someone knows how long it takes to get the ead ? because it feels like its taking forever

Fill in your timeline and have a look at VJ estimates. They're fairly accurate.
The average wait is currently 4-5 months. 
I filed for AoS at the end of July too, had my biometrics on August 28, and still waiting. 
There's no way to really guess. Good luck!
