Filed: IR-1/CR-1 Visa Country: Mexico
Timeline

It's been 14 months since I filed for my wife and still no response. She had a tourist Visa and after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico we went to Mexico. She was denied entry when we tried to return. I was told the i485 would be cancelled and it would go from a 1 step process to a 2 step process. Any other people out there with a similar case? It's taking so so long. I've asked for status because it seems to be outside of normal processing time. Both times they've said basically that they try to process cases by order of receipt. It's hard living apart from my wife. I visit her as much as I can but I miss her so much.
