Question about TX return

I'm in the process of K-1 visa. I will have visa interview soon. My question is: "After marrying him, I think I should do TAX RETURN. I think we will marry in Jan. Then can I do tax return in Jan?" Thanks for your help in advance!

If you are not here, in the US, by the end of 2018 and as of December 31, 2018 you are not married, then you have nothing to worry about -  in January 2019 the IRS will begin accepting Tax Returns for Tax year 2018. So, most likely, it will apply only to your USC partner.
