I applied for Adjustment of Status for my wife (who came here on a K-3 visa), and have received the NOA1 for that as well as the Biometrics appointment. Today, I received an Affidavit of Support (AOS) Fee Bill from the NVC of $70.

Anyone else in the same boat? I sent an Affidavit of Support package already with the Adjustment of Status application. Is that related to this? I also received a Choice of Address and Agent. Do I need to send this out too?

Finally, the address they have for the "visa applicant" (my wife) is her old address in the country she was in. Should I update this address with our address here in the U.S. since she's here now?

Thanks!!!!

And how much did you initially pay??

First, I applied Form I-130, then I-129f (K3). She came here on K3, and a couple of months later we got the I-130 petition approval. Upon that receipt, I then applied her for Form I-864 (Adjustment of Status) to the Chicago lockbox. I paid $395 for the I-864.

The NVC mailing I received is related to the I-130 I believe...not sure where to go from here. Has anyone else who applied for I-864 also receive the NVC Affadavit of Support fee bill and Choice of Agent form?

Thanks for your help!

Sorry - I meant to write:

First, I applied Form I-130, then I-129f (K3). She came here on K3, and a couple of months later we got the I-130 petition approval. Upon that receipt, I then applied her for Form I-485 (Adjustment of Status) to the Chicago lockbox. I paid $395 for the I-485.

The NVC mailing I received is related to the I-130 I believe...not sure where to go from here. Has anyone else who applied for I-485 also receive the NVC Affadavit of Support fee bill and Choice of Agent form?

Thanks for your help!
