Do the supporting documents for the CRBA need to be notarized?

HI, i've looked high and low and so far can't seem to find the answer. I have been gathering the paperwork necessary to file for CRBA for my daughters. I thought i had everything, so i scheduled an appointment and received checklist from them. 

 

There's a few links on the email, most don't seem to work, but one of them takes me to

does it mean that i need to notarize my school transcripts? i'm not sure what to think. Did anyone else have to notarize their school transcripts?

 

also, is it appropriate to ask the embassy to explain themselves?
