Spurs are still dirty and had the Spurs not been rewarded by dirty play from the NBA front office, I doubt this series would have gone the way it did. Anyway, I am sure many will put an asterisk by this Spurs win and I know I will. Now,I am just ready for my Pistons to beat hopefully the Utah Jazz. My hope is anyone but the dirty Spurs in the NBA finals.

LOL @ Mavs fan still crying. Nothing like the whine of a sore loser, and yours is way past its expiration date.

Basketball 101: As long as you're willing to blame someone else, you'll never advance to the championship level.

And LMAO at the "asterisk." Don't you know the Spurs rowel by now when you see one ?

:crying:

Oh my, let us not forget Utah's Malone and his elbows or the Detroit bad boys with Isiah Thomas.

The NBA Playoffs are always far more physical then the regular season. For years the Spurs, especially David Robinson were called soft because they didn't hit back as hard as the other teams. Well, now the Spurs dish out the physical play cleaner than any other team in the NBA with fewer fouls.

There are subtle things that players can do and not be caught by the officiating. Is it right though? The basic rule is that you are not to make contact with your opponent. You can hand check, you can back down with your back, you can hold your position including leaning on your opponent. It's when players start sticking out their feet, grabbing jerseys, throwing elbows when the line is crossed and it becomes dirty.
