RFIE for the I-485 form?

So i checked my status yesterday and it said they request for initial evidence. I'm not sure what exactly it's for...because it says the I-485 form does that mean it's nothing to do with the support/sponsor side of the forms or could it mean anything? i'm currently still waiting for the letter in the mail but i thought i'd ask here first.

Also, it says they will not take action on our case until we give the requested evidence, does this put  my advanced parole or EAD I'm waiting for on hold? Or will that still go ahead separately?

thank you in advance for any help!!

Actually, it could be anything.....but the good news is that is a RFIE...not a denial.........The I-131, I-765, and I-485 are all separate entities......and are processed separately.

I got the letter in the mail yesterday... they just wanted a birth certificate for the joint sponsor. I dont remember any lists saying they request you to send birth certificate unless i've not double checked everything but yeah, that's all it was.
