@Divergent Okay, so my hubby just called me. He said that the person who requested 220(g) was not there but another CO accepted all the necessary documents requested and said that everything looked good BUT she didn’t say the magic word, “approved.” She said that she will hand the documents over to CO who requested the documents next week since he’s busy today and tomorrow is a holiday weekend... So... 😪

I'm sorry I read your post at least 8 times and I'm still confused. Do you mean you are here in the states and your wife is trying to come visit you on a tourist Visa while waiting for her immigrant Visa interview?

If that's the case and she's not able to visit, can you travel to Nigeria for Christmas?

His wife needs to apply for another visiting Visa...but she has to go to Atlanta consulate to get it..

I'm leaving the boat! My visa is approved. I stressed a lot for nothing. They did not ask me anything special. It lasted before 5 minutes.

Thank you for your help. We did it without lawyer. We only followed visajourney 😊

Congratulations buddy. Have been waiting patiently for you to come share the good news with us here. I can still remember we both have our CC same day.

Finally, you are done with this tough and long journey.. Do have a happy flight to the US.

Cheers..!

So thoughtful of you darling! We are all good in San Diego but at work we've been getting many people escaping the fires from LA and such.

Hope everyone is good!

xoxo

Good to know and do have a beautiful Thanksgiving with your husband.

Awwww just seeing this, I think we have reason to celebrate though. She said everything looks good, don't worry just eat lots of Turkey tomorrow and think happy thoughts. Next week could be Monday which is just a few days away, tight hugs hun! 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Am in Nigerian my wife is an American she lives in the state, she is in North Carolina her Nigerian visa on her passport have expired she needs another one before coming to Nigeria December to visit me,presently as a US citizen if you are applying for Nigeria Visa you have to go to Nigeria embassy in US for interview, you have to appear in person,so my wife is going to Nigeria embassy in Atlanta for interview so she can have a valid Nigeria visa before coming to Nigeria .

Oh I totally get it now, well the US Embassy in Nigeria now also requires Nigerians to go for interview instead of submitting their passport for renewal so I guess it's t.i.t (VJ censored that word) for tat 🤷‍♀️

If she's able to get it, will she travel in time for Christmas? I can't imagine how you feel, spending Christmas apart sucks

Ahhhhhh okay no wonder yours is 1500, you're going after Christmas. I have almost 9 hours layover in Dubai so I'll arrive 9am on the 18th

I searched hard o, couldn't find Virgin Atlantic and just gave up 😂

@O&O I don't know if you need to park at the airport but if you do, check out www.globalairportparking.com choose your airport and it'll show you a list of airport hotels you can park for very cheap rates. Use SFO2 for a $2 discount when you check out. I paid $140 total for 35 days, which is like $4 dollars a day at the Hilton

Congratulations! I hope it's all stress over nothing for the rest of us, the stress is torture. Have a safe trip to the US!! 😊

Yes the wait is stressful but don't worry it will be ok. The wait part is hard but the interview itself will be smooth
