He won 12,000 each????

not sure what that means

he needs to make and show tax returns that fit the poverty guidelines for immigraiton

for 2 people that is over $20,000

Hello, thanks for answering, my boyfriend won 12000 dollars, but he has good savings, in his house only he and his mother live, they also earn 12 thousand and have savings, one of them would serve as a sponsor?

It's a language and translation issue. In Spanish, we use the verb ganar [to win/to earn] interchangeably.

What she means is that her partner EARNED an income of 12K not that he WON it.

The fellow poster already explained to OP the income requirements for the purpose of the I-134 both for petitioner and potential co-sponsor.

Buena suerte,
