moving/moving companies UK to US

any recommendations on best/cheapest moving companies/services? no furniture, just a drum set and few decorative things (mirror, clocks etc), clothes in suitcase if possible as we will have cats with us on the plane, less going to airport, the better.

What is the quote they’ve given you, if you don’t mind me asking? And how much stuff are you having shipped? We don’t need to bring any furniture, just a drum set and some boxes

I have shipped 10 boxes. Mainly clothes. I have paid 1050. You pay 50 deposit which includes delivery of boxes and then pay the rest once they have picked your boxes up. That is door to door service and by air. Boat is a bit cheaper but takes a long time. Air is 7-10 days transit time. They give you all the information about the forms to fill in which makes it a lot easier too.
