Does it make processing of EAD any faster?

I am about to start processing my AOS. I am located in CA. I would like to know whether filing the EAD locally after recieving the NOA from the AOS package is possible in California and if it is, does it make the process any faster?

Or is it wise to file in everything AOS, EAD (under C9) everything together at the same mailing address?

Request for some information on this...

EAD for marriage based AOS has to go to the Chicago Lock box.... unless you are in Texas or one of the other DORA areas....... local offices have not issed EAD's since Sept 2006....

Either you mail the EAD application to the central Chicago PO box, or you could do it on line after filing the AOS.

After filing AOS, you can apply online for the EAD. In the K-1 flowchart on VJ, it still says that you can apply at your local office.

The flow chart is wrong.... Local offices have not issued EADs since Sept 2006.......
