Has anybody here had issues with sending their forms thru USPS? I sent my forms to the Chicago Lockbox Tuesday Nov 6. I mailed it priority mail with certified mail. It’s supposed to arrive Nov 8.  I checked the tracking today and it says the my package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. That it is currently in transit to the next facility. I mean it doesn’t even say if it made it  to Chicago or some state near Chicago. I double check the USCIS address twice and I put exactly that one they have on the website.

When I applied for AOS, I sent my package via USPS and was supposed to arrive in Chicago in two days. The day it was supposed to be delivered I only got a notification at 11 PM that is in transit to destination. During the day I was freaking out that they lost my package, however it was delivered the following day, so a day later that initially estimated.

I recently applied for ROC and used FedEx.

I sent my I 129F to Dallas lockbox via USPS. They lost it. I did the retrieve package should it ever pop up again. But in 4 months it hasn't shown up. Give it awhile before panicking. I gave them about a week before I started making phone calls. If you sent a check you can always check to see if it was cashed, which would be a good sign.

USPS is extremely incompetent. I always use UPS even though they are much more expensive (and much much more reliable). One thing I saw is UPS customer service is more efficient and friendly. The people working at USPS doesn't seem to like their job. Really!

But then the USCIS uses USPS. A friend of mine got his EAD lost. 😕
