Im told when it says "ready" you can schedule. I have no experience with that part yet..but i will not accept no or an inconclusive answer because it is something we paid for.

This process is not the same at each consulate.  Everyone here has paid their immigration fees, and it still doesn't mean the process is logical or fast.

I’m so sorry... I wish I knew the answer.  We filed on Feb 12, 2018 and still haven’t been approved 😔 However, 2 weeks ago we received an RFE (for something we already sent 😡) and I think if it wasn’t for congressional requests, we would be still waiting for any news. Maybe you try another congressman / senator that’s more empathetic and is going to insist on your behalf? The other option is the lawsuit.

I hope we don’t have to wait much longer.

My best wishes 💐

Today I join the club!

For those sitting at 300+, really sorry to hear that.  Have you tried the various avenues (congressperson, submitting an inquiry, etc....).  Are you met with the same standard BS/script response?  Any answers as to why it's taking you so long?
