I got a letter today from USCIS and couldn't breathe from the excitement, I didn't even care if it was an RFE as long I could finally have some news. But it was just a response to my inquiry telling me that my case was still in security checks and they can't do anything until it's cleared :( I don't know why they would send me a letter, I've submitted an inquiry twice before and they always email back. Anyways I just thought I'd share. Has that happened to anyone else before?

272 days in just got a reply back from USCIS from my second inquiry. This one said they can not give me a time frame when my case will be reviewed, this is after the first inquiry said my case was being adjudicated and that I should receive a notice of action in 45 days. The 45 days has come and gone and still nothing. It will be 9 months on February 8, 2019. I have no idea what the deal is with my case. It seems neither do USCIS.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

Captain’s Log... day 480

I made my weekly call to a tier 2 - and he said that my case is BACK pending security checks?! K, I don’t even know at this point - it’s beyond ridiculous.

I was told the security checks were completed back in September last year and now this? I just don’t get it.
