I got an answer to my inquiry and it was the generic background check reason. Was surprised they answered so fast but it didn’t really give me the response I wanted which was a NOA2 lol.. Day 234...guess next week there will be less responses because of the holiday. Gotta hold onto hope though 🍀🍀

I thought once we get RFE means they are done with background check. @Greenbaum am I mistaken? I know you mentioned there different stages of background check but don't they complete it before they start adjudicating the case or sending RFE

I thought the same. Especially for the petitioner. Since everyone basically gets the same answer, I’m guessing it doesn’t mean much. Probably working on other cases and put this one to the side until they get around to it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

It makes me wonder if for some folks those "background checks" just take a very long time. Would be nice if there was a bit more transparency to the process. Good luck to you all, and hopefully speedy approvals soon!

Good to hear, hope is there, how did you know thatyou were stuck in security check? Did they tell you

Yup, we submitted an inquiry. Then we waited a month (only 1 inquiry per month) and then that is when they told us our 129F was approved !
