Still stuck on security check our 255 days already

Has anyone here sent an inquiry online when they were within processing time? I sent the RFE response 3 weeks ago which means we are within the 60 days but like everyone else here I’m starting to go a little crazy. I’m wondering if I’ll get the response faster if I send an inquiry or whether it won’t help at all...

i sent one yesterday in uscis site, and i was approved yesterday... dont know if that works... i was waiting for 2 weeks after my rfe

(256 days here too) We're the real unlucky ones. Some of my experiences for you to consider;

1) 230 days we sent a letter to the senator (they called but got the same response we did "still awaiting an officer assignment).
2) Filed 2 online forms for outside normal processing times (both times saying "still awaiting an officer assignment). 

You might get further than we did, so I'd say give your sentator a try.
Some people filed online requests and got approved a little after (except us bc we're being trolled lol).

OMG that is why i get angry how is possible they cant give an certain answer..like your file is in this stage...an at least we take it easy but know nothing and when u are away is just crazy!

Exactly. The process is disgusting and thank you! We need all the prayers we can get...

The senator might be able to help with that, I'd still contact them. And hey, AT LEAST something is happening with your case. You're almost there.

People we are approved too, yesterday! Already cried tears of joy. It took them 2 weeks to work on our rfe.

How did you check, did you send request online? i am trying to think what different answers they give, atleast i feel better that they give different answers e.g background check, or processing, or waiting to assaign officer, so atleast i know what is the issue.

   Wait is getting hard, i can't sleep well now😒
