Hi Everyone,

 

I am filing the form I-130 for my widowed father. 
I will appreciate help from anyone regarding how to answer the following questions:

Part 4 INFORMATION ABOUT BENEFICIARY
 - BENEFICIARY'S MARITAL INFORMATION:  19 - Date of Current Marriage ( if currently married ) - Should I put my parent's date of marriage or simply put N/ A?
- PLACE OF BENEFICIARY'S CURRENT MARRIAGE: (if married) 20a - 20d. - Should I just leave this blank or N/A?
- NAME OF BENEFICIARY'S SPOUSES (if any) - Should I list my mom's name on current spouse since she's the only spouse of my dad or just leave the first space blank then list her on second space for a prior spouse? 
- INFORMATION ABOUT BENEFICIARY'S FAMILY: Provide information about the beneficiary's spouse and children. Do I have to list my deceased mom here as well?

 

Do I also have to submit my mom's death certificate?

5/9/17 - Biometrics done (day 33)
3/19/18 - Case approved
3/23/18 - Approval letter received
4/6/18 - Actual 10-yr GC received 
N400 (under 3-year rule)
4/27/18 - filed N400 online (Friday) (day 0)
4/27/18 - paid/payment received (day 0)
4/27/18 - NOA date
5/21/18 - Biometrics done
7/25/18 - Interview letter date
8/31/18 - Scheduled interview. Got approved!
9/20/18 - Naturalization ceremony in Faneuil Hall, Boston, MA

he is not currently married therefor he has no spouse, as to the last question, you could mention her and her date of death

Thank you so much! I got confused with the form honestly and my mom passed away recently so the questions are new to me. Really appreciate it!

I am sorry for your loss it's tough losing our parents, you are a good daughter bringing him to live with you, look into long term insurance, it can get expensive unless you can put him on your or your husband's plan
