Same thing applies... in today’s society, one can pick and choose pretty much whatever they wish to identify as.  “Identifying as” something doesn’t necessarily make you one, except in one’s own (crazy?) mind.

No I certainly didn't intend to violate anything. My husband is younger than me. I had previously been with a man that was older than me and ended up being an immature abusive loser. And as I've said before my uncle at a very young age married a woman who was significantly older than him. When she died he married a woman that was significantly younger than him. Love can happen at any age and there are certainly options available for everyone. There are many couples on this forum that are older men or older women with younger wives/husbands that they found compatible love with outside of their home countries. That's all I was saying? What exactly is harmful in saying that?

Well, I think some people could be very offended by you saying that older men cannot find younger men in our own countries.  While I am sure there are people who so just what you described, I am not so sure that “numerous couples on this forum” sought out a spouse in a foreign country due to an inability to attract younger spouses at home.

 

To be clear, yes, my wife is younger than I.  No, I did not go looking outside the USA for her.  No, she did not marry me because I am a rich American.  But of course, people think what they will about others.
