That sounds frustrating. I’m sorry you have to go through with this ordeal... We applied for CR1 so I don’t understand the K1 process all too well, but as other person commented, they are very responsive with emails. They responded the same day we emailed the embassy in Santiago, Chile.

My hubby is going back to the embassy to submit an additional document next week, perhaps he can ask someone about this while he’s there? :( And trust me, even if our cases are different, I understand the level of anxiety and stress.

Finally the "nightmare" is over!

Last night I logged onto the website (US Visa Appointment Services) around midnight and 1 appointment popped up. After refreshing that page for 2 weeks and seeing the same "No Appointments Available" it was surprising to see the page change, was as exciting as when we received NOA2. Anyways, we are booked for December 5th! At least now we have a date and a possibility that she can be here before Christmas or New Year. I think it takes around 10 days for the visa to arrive at the DHL office after the visa is approved.

Now the only stress left is hoping that the interview goes well...

Good luck next week to you booth! ☺️ Abrazo

December 5th is soon! Good luck!!! During my hubby’s interview CO only asked 4 questions:

1. How did we meet?

2. When did we meet?

3. How many times did I visit Chile?

4. How many times my hubby visited USA?

Then moves onto round 2 where several COs review all the documents before making the final decisions. Make sure all is ready! Good luck!!!
