My wife is in the US on a K3. The NVC forwarded the I-130 case to the embassy in Bangkok on March 27th. About one month ago our NVC case number was listed on the embassy’s webpage appointment schedule. We have not received anything from the embassy regarding the appointment or what to bring. The immigrant visa application instructions for CR/IR applicants lists only to bring a DS 230 part I and an I 864. http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/services/visa...20Checklist.htm

There has to be more, (interview fee, 2 photographs, passport, birth certificate, proof of relationship, police certificate for her time living in the US, etc).

I’ve emailed the IV section of the embassy and had no response.

I know a lot of the info the embassy requires went the service center, and to the NVC, but there just has to be more.

Has anyone else gone from a K3 to IR1 with the US Embassy in Thailand.

Appreciate any help

Alek & Pok
