Hi everyone! (moderators please move thread if not in the right place)

I think we are one of the rare cases nowadays where our green card was approved way before our EAD or AP would even be touched by USCIS. My question is, since we have a green card now, do the EAD and AP applications just die? Does USCIS automatically cancel them? Or do we need to somehow submit something to cancel them? Thank you!

Congratulations on getting your green card. You don't need to do anything with the EAD and AP. It's automatically invalid as you already have your green card.

Ok great! Will we still get them in the mail and they just won't be valid or will they just stop processing it since we have our greencard. Thank you for the response!!

They will not process it anymore. You're welcome.

Like others said, the EAD-AP will be invalid since you have your GC approved. I doubt you will receive the EAD-AP in the mail because they should not be processed now but if for some weird reason (like if they processed it before your gc was approved) you do get the combo card in the mail then just store it in a safe place for your personal records. Congratulations on your GC approval.

It is what we call one of those good problems.
