mine wasn't actually showing up on any website as a date! So it surprised me, but either way, it's a week longer than I was thinking to wait, but it's coming!

Crossing my paws that they're able to slide me into the April 23 ceremony in LA.

 

I was through security and at the check-in desk right on time, waited for maybe 8 -10 minutes, had a very nice officer. He asked for my green card, state ID, passport; my spouse's birth certificate (and I also had a photocopy of his passport page that I gave him); our marriage certificate--I didn't have an original, it's gone missing. I don't know if maybe they kept in in Montreal after my interview? I think I have turned over every piece of paper in this house looking for it, and it wasn't anywhere. So I ordered another one from Vital Statistics, thinking the first one would show up. It hasn't, but I do have another one coming. I explained that I didn't have the original (I gave him a photocopy), but that I had another one coming. He took my fingerprints and a photo. He asked for some bills and things showing we're both in the same house, and I showed him those. I had to read out loud two simple sentences, and I had to write down Lincoln was the President during the Civil War. My civics questions were: What is freedom of religion, Who is the Chief Justice of the SCOTUS, What are the two main political parties, Who makes Federal law, Name a war the US fought in the 1800s, and If the POTUS and VPOTUS couldn't lead the country, who becomes POTUS?

 

He went through the questionnaire, and I showed him our this year's tax return when he got to the tax questions. He asked how my husband and I met. I had an absolute pile of paper with me, and needed very little of it, but SO MUCH BETTER to have too much.

 

At the end he puts a paper in front of me, and I didn't have my glasses on, so I asked, Oh, are you giving me an RFE for the marriage certificate? but he wasn't, it was the approval. We talked about how the notice of the oath ceremony will come (only by snail mail??) and what dates were coming up for LA. The interviewing people have to be there, too! which I had somehow missed. I will make sure I have the marriage certificate with me just in case someone needs it.

 

What a relief!

Hi everyone, I had my interview on 03/20 and was approved! My oath ceremony is on 04/09 ! 
The one thing I wanted to mention, is that is you are getting citizenship based on the fact that your spouse is a US citizen and your ROC is still pending, it's a good idea to ask your spouse to come with you to the interview.
My husband came with me and they asked him a few questions that allowed them to approve my ROC at the same time. Everything went really fast and the interviewer was really nice. I wish the best of luck to everyone still waiting and congrats to those who have been approved!

For those that have their oath ceremony dates, was it updated online first or snail mail? I'm still waiting on mine.

April 26th 2019 I became a United States Citizen!

I checked the USCIS site (bc I am compulsive that way) and the letter was in there (update noted on the front page, letter in the documents tab). I haven't received the snail mail letter yet.

I am yet to get my oath date in state of Indiana. I did my interview since 12th of Feb and I got approved 20th of Feb. No oath date yet in mail. My status still says my “oath will be scheduled”. Does anyone have the same problem in Indiana state? I have scheduled an infopass for April 16th, hoping to get a date soonest.

I filed my N-400 application online on 11/08/2018, and am I now just awaiting my interview date.  I have am estimated completion date of "November 2019" has many people noticed this moving quicker?

Hi. 

I filed on the same day (11/08) in NYC and my estimated completion date is August 2019. 

Still waiting on interview notification.
