Hi,
After my interview they gave me 221(g) and asked me to upload a new Joint Sponsor. I sent the files via courier last month but no response. Last week I received email from Embassy to upload the files at CEAC.
I have uploaded all required files. The visa status is still 'Refused'. I wanted to ask how much time the Embassy will take to process the files of new JS and issue visa ?
Getting a bit worried.

its unfortunate, but it can take days, to weeks, to months, to years.

I would send an email to the embassy letting them know you have completed the upload and ask them how much time will be needed for a resolution, I have found staying proactive can help but also hurt depending on the embassy in question.

Good luck in your journey.

I had the same issue with the embassy in Cairo, I finally ended up after almost 60 days of no response on any of my emails, I reached out to my state senator.

I am in Pakistan and hopeful to get reply in coming days.

My hubby received 220(g) last week with the same issue. He was to provide a joint sponsor. The embassy however gave us a deadline until next week to bring all the supporting documents  directly to the embassy.

My hubby’s passport and all the rest of the documents submitted were not returned and he said he did his finger printing too. I wish you hear good news soon.
