We were neither notified electronically though we submitted the electronic notif form. My husband called USCIS and they gave him something like a reference number. Days later, he received our NOA1 thru mail.

Same with us

i dont understand why processing time for US citizen is more than Permanent resident.

I read somewhere on vj dt da reason it’s so is because wen we get to nvc stage US citizens dnt have to wait for priority date or for our date to be current but permanent residence do

US citizens should be a couple months not days ahead of the process.  Whoever the case manager needs to do better. Because US citizens should be month or 2 ahead of everyone else.

If they really want to make it fair.

My NOA2 date estimate keeps getting pushed back little by little.  At first it was mid-July - now it's beginning of August. 😩 Why??

NOA1 11/9 Nebraska

So this is wt I think.. vj timeline depends on ppls update on their timelines so let’s say Nebraska approvals was on a particular month or tym frame which got u da estimate then instead of the approvals going forward it starts going backwards which intends affects ur estimated approval date

It generally takes longer for permanent residences during the NVC stage, therefore, US citizens do have priority during the process.  US Citizens' immediate relatives (spouses included) have "unlimited" visas issued each year. Permanent residences do not have this, and therefore are limited by that.
