Hello! 

I got a question. I live in New Jersey, and we applied for aos.  But we have received an appointment for biometrics in New York City office. Is that normal??  ( I mean different states). Maybe you had the same experience..

You should be scheduled at the asc that has jurisdiction of your area. You can check which in uscis website. Sometimes it is in another state
