Erm, no... Only a small corner is supposed to be torn open. That looks like it could have been tamper with. I would try to contact the embassy and possibly send it back to have it re-sealed just in case.

I would think there is a high chance they won't accept that or grant you entry if you present it. It looks like someone messed with it. Definitely go to the embassy and get it checked and resealed. Maybe call them to let them know that you have just taken delivery of it in that state.

Distance is no demon,

Often I think it can be a blessing for those in love,

a silent, underappreciated blessing.

It will have no power over us.

When you come stumbling to my door after months, with flowers and wine in hand,

I will be ready.

When I pick you up from the airport, the feeling will be unmatched,

that feeling like birds bursting in song from beneath my lungs,

that feeling unlike any other.

We have to stay strong and remember what is most important;

I love you, and you, me.

The air between us is nothing but a metaphor.

Nothing, not one thing, can come between us.

Yeah, that is a significant tear. It will have to be repackaged. They will not accept it the way it looks in the photo.

Just another example on things can go wrong at any stage of the process.

Hope you get this resolved quick.

Yep! We were planning on buying his ticket tonight. He is not flying until Dec 1 so I may take the chance and book it anyway 🤐🤤🤢

Regardless the change date fee is $200 and the price will probably go up $200 anyhow so I'm not out anything if they take a freaking MONTH to reseal it 😭😭😭

Dang and it was all going so well, too. Sorry that you have to wait a little longer now.

I personally wanted to thank you for your support with my case. You are my hero! My fiance had her interview this morning and she was approved. She was told to expect her package sometime next week.

Thanks again stranger! :)

One of the BIG rules:  DO NOT BUY AIRPLANE TICKETS TILL YOU HAVE THE VISA IN HAND.

I think it would be best to wait until visa is in hand. Good luck!  Probably just a very small delay.
