I think the interview questions will depend on each different condition of  cases but not much different. Good luck to him.   My daughter and I will have the interview next Tuesday. I'll appreciate if anyone can Keep us on your prayers ! Thank you so much.

Typical questions that are asked at the interview. Your mileage may vary.

-What is the name of your fiancé/e?

-Where did you meet?

-When did you meet?

-How did you meet?

-When are you planning to get married?

-What is your fiancé/es work?

-Have you gone out of the country?

-How long were you out of the country?

-How many times has your fiancé/e visited you?

-Where did you go when your fiancé/e visited you?

-Do you plan to have kids?

-Where do you plan on staying in the US?

-name and DOB

-what year did you meet

-How did you meet

-what are your fiancé parents' names

-your fiancé's employer and job

-have either of you been married before

-other countries you've been to

-do you have kids together

These are some of the questions but rest assure that all the questions will be about the petitioner, the beneficiary, and the relationship. Always tell the truth even if the truth is "I don't know". Don't rush in answering and give a straightforward answer. Look the CO in the eye when answering and smile. Don't give a novel as your answer. Just brief and concise. Don't volunteer any information unless asked, this could send you down the wrong road.

Don't forget to ask if you passed.

Hi. The CO told me we'll get the visa in 3 days. If so,it should be delivered to me yesterday.    We didn't get any paper from the consulate officer, she's a nice person. Our case status just updated from "application received" to "Administrative processing " yesterday then it'll be a holiday next Monday. 😶I'm a bit worried about this bcuz most of ppl in my country  had their fiance visa in hand in 3~4 days after they got approved.

You haven't learned the lesson of patience and that what any government official tells you that their timeline for a process is this ___________ it will always be wrong. You can't believe what they say. They are not lying to you but still, it's not something you should plan on.  I have seen people get their visas within hours and I have seen some take up to a year. There is a holiday on Monday so I expect that you should get something T/W next week.

Follow along with these instructions. When the Embassy is ready to issue a visa, it will change to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application"; at that time, you will know that you are a few days away from getting the visa. It will go from "Immigrant Visa Application" to "Nonimmigrant Visa Application" status and then your visa changes to "Ready" ==> "Administrative Processing" ==>> "Issued" status as well. These steps sometimes transpire over a day or even a few days. Some smaller Embassy's it happens within hours.

Sometimes, it might skip "Administrative Processing" and go from "Ready" to "Issued".
