On another note,

So I haven't traveled since filing AOS. Should I take my marriage certificates and NOA1's? I'm only travelling to Portland on Wednesday but don't want to be over the top with docs etc..

Yeah, passport (or other identification), marriage certificate and NOA1 is probably the best bet, just in case. I was told by Jacksonville office I had to carry those things around all the time (but I don't know how accurate that is. It is USCIS after all)

So another interesting question:

Do you plan to apply for Citizenship say with the 3 year rule or do you plan not to and just plan to keep renewing the 10 year GC?. And also does your home country allow and recognise dual Citizenship?

Late reply but this is our kitchen before & after. Almost done, just a few more tiny things. Sorry for the bad photo quality, I had to resize the pics 😛

The other side of the kitchen is just workout equipment 😂

Good job! White cabinet and wide open kitchen sink. I don’t get this whole two small square thing. I grew up with just one whole sink.

Super excited as I do love Portland!! But Vegas always has this magnetic power to drag you back

Maybe I missed it but whats the occasion? Have fun!! Fun trips def take the sting out of waiting haha.

We're leaving for Arizona next week, family visit. We just bought an EV and we're curious how it is on road trips, I'm scared it'll be a giant pain in the butt. 😂

I might apply for Citizenship once my 3 years is up, and will definitely apply for dual citizenship. And yes my country Philippines does recognize dual Citizenship.

I will probably apply for citizenship, but I don't know if it will be on the 3 year rule or the 5 year; I don't think you need to include as much evidence with the latter (but I could be wrong, I can't say I've done much research on that one yet!)

How about you?

Jake works remotely from a company based in Portland, so has to make a few commutes to the office to keep in touch. Also it's his sisters first baby shower too. Arizona would be so beautiful :)

I'd really like to apply for the 3 year rule as I'd love to vote especially for next general election. But I don't know if I'll get it in time especially with the wait it'll take to get initial GC

Yeah, the voting is one of the reasons I might go for it sooner. Would need to brush up on my American History though! I should be okay with the reading/writing English, though...

Aside from anything I'm thoroughly following Brexit and what an absolute mess it is... :(

Oof, yes, that's another thing. I don't want to lose my EU citizenship, I've had it for life! But it is what it is, I guess. :(
