I was checking my NOA1's for I-485/I-765/I-131 and they have skipped one of my middle names as I have two (and abbreviated just the letter of one) when addressing it to me. It was clearly wrote on the forms correctly. Yet for my biometrics letter they sent me they spelt my name out in full correctly including both middle names with no abbreviations. 

 

Either way, I hope they spell my name correctly. 

I’m curious how they are gonna do your card with two middle name.

Social security was super difficult as on my visa they listed my middle names with my name. The guy was like "oh your names too long" for us system. I left SS so angry. Lucky enough I was fortunate enough to get a SSN

Oh I'm not sure! I have two middles names and in order they are A.S but on my NOA1 they just put just put J (first name) A (middle name) R (last name) and left out my second middle name S.

 

Yet on the biometrics they state name in full for J A S R. Just confusing. I'm thinking they maybe only have a limit as my first and last name are 15 characters? Who knows but hoping my alien number verifies everything from K1.

I have 4 first names and it never worked out on any of my visa forms so I've used my last 3 names as middle names since I started the K1 process. 

 

Say my name is Hannah Banana Manana Kabana, on the EAD it is listed as Hannah B. 😛

so did you get your ssn Saturday? When I saw you mentioned Informed Delivery I looked it up and signed up for it. So far, nada.

so did you get your ssn Saturday? When I saw you mentioned Informed Delivery I looked it up and signed up for it. So far, nada. 

 

Yes I got it Saturday! You will probably get it this week. Informed delivery has been a lifesaver, I stalk that app way too much 😛 I was slightly disappointed that after all these months it was just a number on plain paper hahahaha.

 

I might just name my first child Hannah Banana now 😂

On another note,

 

So I haven't traveled since filing AOS. Should I take my marriage certificates and NOA1's? I'm only travelling to Portland on Wednesday but don't want to be over the top with docs etc..

I don’t think you need to bring anything if you are traveling locally, but to be on the safe side maybe just bring your marriage certificate and your NOA for the I-485

I think I told @JunkTardis to take is AOS NOA1 to NYC in December. I can't remember if he did or not.

 

If you left it you'd probably be okay.

I heard Portland is pretty. In the future I would want to go to Oregon to see the Multnomah Falls. It’s gonna be a long drive coming from Sacramento but a road trip is always fun.
