I limited myself to checking the mail once per day, except Sundays. I get excited when there's ANY mail in there, when it's empty it's quite depressing! It might seem silly, but I think it's a sensible reaction to waiting on something as important as what we are.

I got my EAD/AP last Tuesday and ever since I’ve been checking our mail box twice a day, waiting for my ssn. This past Saturday I signed up for informed delivery and let’s just say I’ve logged in a good 5 times a day since Saturday, and yes I did check it yesterday also hahahahah.

I had a weird dream on Friday night that I received an approval in the mail all water damaged in the envelope. Prior in my dream to receiving this I had no notifications or updates online on the app! LOL. It's weird cause my K1 cases still days 'Received' in old app. I'm sure most people are going nuts waiting, waiting, waiting...

I just want my AP to book flight for summer times more than EAD as I can't work until end of May.

Hoping this weeks a good one for us :D

A water damaged approval is better than none at all! 😂

I was notified on the new website about my K1....it appears this round will be entirely old website! Maybe ROC will be no updates at all!

I literally get so paranoid thinking, "ok, I'll love it when it comes but WHAT IF they spell my name wrong, get date of birth wrong, it gets lost etc". I know all the info was correct but just overthinking all possibilities. Obviously, I know that if it's their error they will correct it but could that be more waiting... :)

Any of you other November AOS filers from the UK excited to have some good British food when you get to go back home to see family? I can hear a battered sausage and a potato fritter calling my name!

I just want proper chip shop chips. 🤤 Though I'd probably take a pickled egg...maybe a fish cake...mushy peas....

Oh, and probably curry sauce.

And now I'm hungry 😢

Notification dreams/nightmares are the worst. A waterlogged approval would be unfortunate, but still an approval!!! haha.

I wonder if USCIS employees ever look on VJ and see just how out of our minds we all are.... just so desperate for any kind of tiny clue....

My biggest worry is that it'll get put in someone else's mailbox. It's a common occurence around here....

Forgive my ignorance, but do you mean like a specific type of peas just called "mushy peas" or are you just craving literal mushy peas??

It's a specific type of pea that is mushed. My husband says they have the pea here but I can't remember what it's actually supposed to be/chip shop peas are always better than what I can make

Hahahahah I was thinking the same before I got mine. As soon as I got it that’s the first thing I checked. When I got it in the mail it was addressed to my last name first, then my first name and then my middle name. I was like, what?!? Inside, the card itself is fine. Although under my name is says my first name and my initial for my middle name. I figured I should be fine.

I was checking my NOA1's for I-485/I-765/I-131 and they have skipped one of my middle names as I have two (and abbreviated just the letter of one) when addressing it to me. It was clearly wrote on the forms correctly. Yet for my biometrics letter they sent me they spelt my name out in full correctly including both middle names with no abbreviations.

Either way, I hope they spell my name correctly.

Hopefully they'll just take what's on the form; chances are they just have a limited space for names on the NOAs?

True that's my thinking. They have my alien number anyhow as that was included
