I'm lucky; my old place of work wants me back to work even remotely - and they have an office in Michigan. Buuuut on the off chance it doesn't work out, there aren't really many jobs here that aren't retail, so I'll have to hope that the first thing that comes up is an office job or something 😂

As for the 90 days EAD....I'm sat here honestly wondering why it's changed from that for AOS applications; theoretically all they have to do is produce a card because it's an interim measure...but then I've seen people get RFEs for EADs and not the AOS itself! Idk, I wish it was still just 90 days, but I'm also glad it isn't much longer than it is at the moment.

Ohhh that's awesome about the job!! I'll probably grab first thing I get as we have spent a lot on credit cards to try and make up for things.

I'm a little confused about AP - it says it's 5-7 months on the USCIS for NBC. Aren't they processed together as a combo, right?

That's fair! At least your credit rating will be fab? :P

AP and EAD are processed together, but maybe some people only apply for AP or something..? I don't know, they might also just not have it on there for everyone else, mine shows 5 - 7 months, weird.

ROC Timeline:

Date format is MM/DD/YY

05/16/19 - Green Card Issue Date

03/10/21 - Sent ROC paperwork to Phoenix, AZ | USPS 2-Day Shipping

04/07/21 - NOA1 Text Messages Received

Seems logical enough. I'll be really happy to see November approvals coming soon. In my heart, I really feel April will be our month ❤️❤️❤️

My thoughts?

Bad advice is going around stating that frontloading is the ONLY way to go for K1 applications.

I strongly believe that they have allocated resources from other field offices to pick up the slack for K1s that submit 1000's of pages of chatlogs to prove that they met in the past 2 years (like chat logs prove they did).

That's probably correct; when I originally applied for my K1 I was concerned that people were submitting so much and I think my entire application was no more than 28 pages of A4. I didn't get an RFE though, so it doesn't seem to be necessary 😂

I also think that the recent requirement to interview everyone regardless of what they are applying from has had a major effect too. Stricter processing and case reviews too...all in all...making it a Bad Time for immigration.

Oh whilst you've caught my eye! Do you think @K1visaHopeful that October and November shouldn't be impacted too much with the new 4.5-6.5 processing times? I know I'm unfounded without stats to back up but I would hope we may see lots of November approvals next month? Hoping that October has floods of approvals coming in this week. My friend in California (who doesn't have VJ) text me to say he got approval EAD today and I think he was mid October - he didn't tell me exact date though

If you run reports on the apps you will see that October has only been pin pricked and September is largely untouched.

Oh I forgot about the reports on the app! Hopefully it's not the case where most people get approved near enquiry time. I assumed that September was mostly done as most recent approvals on VJ timelines have been from October. Oh here's hoping anyhow!

VJers are only a small percentage of all filers.

My office is also Tampa-FL. I am happy to hear that you process is going fast.

I have some questions:

1. Did you already receive  your “combo”?

2. How long took to change from “ready to schedule interview” to “interview schedule”?

I have just realized that i misunderstood your first question, sorry for that. No, i haven't received my combo. My I-765 and I-131 status on uscis website are still  as "case was received".

What I've noticed for November is a huge amount of people stuck in "Fingerprint fee received", while, from what I've read on the forums, December and January filers, get their status updated right after biometrics.

Our case hasn't been updated since November 28th. I used to check informed delivery daily and get excited about any notifications, but all the ones I get, come from Candy Crush. 😅

The fantasy I had of us getting an early interview, seems now unattainable. I feel being awarded a Nobel prize is way easier. 😂

If it makes you feel better, I am a December filer and mine is still finger print received. I know people on here that are early december and early january and they all never had more of an update that fingerprint received.

Has anyone began looking for potential jobs?

I've had a few searches and plenty of good jobs out there? I'm thinking I'll probably just take first thing I get just to build up funds a bit

I applied and got a job as a cashier at a nearby supermarket (no need to drive, yay) the next day! Even though it is a real step down from my previous career path, it is still great to help my husband earn money :)

Part-time in Hobby Lobby pays well, my husband said, so if you have one nearby, it may be a good idea.
