Hi guys, joining the group. Husband got to the US on October and we filed in Nov with a priority date of November 16, 2018. We did our prints on the 12 of December and nothing has been updated on the case status. Only that the fingerprints fee was received. By the VJ timeline estimates we should hear something back on the EAD and AP around April 12.

Hi again! Looks like our timelines still pretty much match up from K1 😂 How's it going?

ROC Timeline:

Date format is MM/DD/YY

05/16/19 - Green Card Issue Date

03/10/21 - Sent ROC paperwork to Phoenix, AZ | USPS 2-Day Shipping

04/07/21 - NOA1 Text Messages Received

We're destined to be on this journey together! 😁

It's going good, have a lot less time to be on here since starting nursing school in January but otherwise, everything is going well. Enjoying not having to worry about time differences or facebook calls. But this process continues to be stressful, annoying, and gut-wrenching through and through. I suspect it will stay this way until our husbands are citizens.

How is it going for you guys?

It's going okay! Just kinda waiting for the EAD to come through and hoping to hear something about it soon. Everything seems to be awful though, right now, with taxes etc! They like to make things complicated....:(

AOS filler from a k1 here. Anyone from AZ ? Got my finger print done in December 2018 and my case says “ready to schedule an interview” & EAD “ fingerprint was reviewed “ since December 2018 as well. I’m hoping to hear something from at least the EAD very soon 😩 I’m not a no work & stay home kind of person 🥴

Join the club.

EAD/AP is 4 to 6 months. Your status will only update for that if your application is approved.

GC depends on the processing times of your LFO. Your status MAY update when it's ready to be scheduled for an interview and then again when it has been scheduled. That could take months or years for the I-485 depending on your LFO. Until then we blindly wait.

SO WE STARTED OUR TAXES.

The first place we went to with the appointment booked with an ITIN specialist...she couldn't help us, and directed us to person #2 and gave us a number to call. Husband called the number, Person #2 doesn't do ITIN applications any more. Go back to the original office to let them know, the manager literally says "Oh, but I spoke to her yesterday and she gave no indication she was stopping" and gives us a number fore person #3. The phone number is incorrect after a quick google search it actually goes to some poor chap named Harold.

Thankfully, Person #2 called us back with the actual number for #3, and she managed to squeeze us into an appointment and in the process of doing our return for us - even better, she's a CAA so I don't even need to send off my passport.

It's been a day guys. We started at 1pm and didn't get home until just now (8pm).

Hello everyone! So yesterday was my interview in Harlingen Texas, the people were nice and the interview was fast and not complicated: The officer asked us how we met, my wife explained everything, I couldn't even say a word 😂😂.  He took my picture and both my index fingerprints, then a little bit of chit chat with the officer, about him going to France and the UK, while he was reviewing the papers. I freaked out a little bit when he asked me if I did another medical, because he was having a hard time finding the one I gave at the port of entry. He finally found it and processed with the Yes/No questions, and finally asked if we had more things we wanted to add to the file. I gave him a statement from my wife credit card company saying that I was added as an user and a paper from the car insurance with both names on it. I also tried to give him pictures and copies of letters family sent us but he just wanted papers like joint bank accounts and money related. I explained I didn't have more because I didn't have a social security number yet. He strongly advised us to get more of these for the removal of conditions, because that's the best proof of living together.

In the end he told us he was gonna recommend for approval and by the time we ran some errands around and went home my status already updated on my tracker app! 😃😃😃☺️☺️☺️

CONGRATSSSS!!!! YAYYYYY :D I hope we arent too far behind you! So happy for ya! 😀

Hi Gibus, congrats! I have a question for you. How long did it take to receive the mail about your interview, after your status turned to "interview was scheduled" on uscis? Thank you

Hey, We got some good news yesterday. We called uscis just to make sure our address change request was issued correctly on the system so we can receive the interview letter. After talking to the call center agent we had more questions and requested to talk with an uscis officer. The person on the phone told us the officer will call us back in 30 minutes or so. We got the call and talked to the officer, he answered all of our questions and also he told us our appointment date and time . My case status on uscis website says, as on 6th of march they scheduled the interview, and the officer told us my interview date is 11th of April.

I hope everybody gets their letter pretty soon!

What's your local field office? It's not mentioned on your timeline.

You're right. When i created the timeline i wasn't sure  if the case was transferred or not so I left it empty. But as the officer told us yesterday, it is Tampa, FL.
