Fun!  I love Portland, too!  Seattle is only three hours north.  If you've been living in Vegas so far, and you visit Portland and Seattle, you will fall in love and not want to return to Vegas....😂

Oh I've said to Jake about one day living in Portland and he's not so keen lol. For me personally, Portland reminds me a lot of back home with it's beauty. However, Jake did say if he was to move to anywhere else it'd definitely be Seattle!! Really hoping we can make it at the end of the month. The destination videos I have seen of Seattle were amazing. I'd definitely love to do the Space Needle for sure as a must do ❤️

Hope it works out!  If you lived in Seattle, you could easily get up to BC when homesick.  There are a lot of British ex-pats up there.  Where in the UK are you from?

My buddy has an authentic Caribbean restaurant in Edmonds called Calypso. Let me know if you want details and I'll give you the link.

The owners are Chambers and Jennifer and they will be on the restaurant floor serving you because they are very hands on. REALLY cool ppl. Tell them Amanda from the Next Level in the Cayman Islands sent you. They'll laugh if you tell them how you know me (not from Cayman/dont know me). Jennifer is Canadian and adjusted her US status (illegally, lol) from a B2 so we are all connected.

(Scrolling back further, lol) yes @jakejon I can send you to places in Victoria too which is a 90 minute ferry ride from Seattle. Victoria is VERY British.

Please do tell! Looking forward to visit.

My aunt lives in Montreal for 30years or more and I feel ashamed to say I have never visited either.😰

For November filers -

I'm kind of think if I'm noticing a slight decrease in processing times for EAD/AP according to VJ. There's folks getting approved in 145 days! Obviously, this isn't representative of processing across the board. So fingers crossed they speed up. I wish I could report Nov updates based on the old USCIS app - I'm not sure of case numbers starting from Nov 1

I hope you're right; our roommates that we're tied into leasing with for a year just told us that they're looking at buying a place and breaking the lease so I'm going to need to get back to work!
