Wow, that's amazing - congratulations! I feel like the Spokane office is so quick. I almost wish I lived in eastern WA just for that (I had to file through the Seattle office, which is incredibly slow). Glad your experience was so smooth :)

Thank you! Yeah I heard Seattle FO waiting time is long. Hope you hear good news sooner than expected. Good luck!

Vegas is long too for AOS! I actually can wait til 2020/2021 for an interview but I want my Combo card soooooon!!!! My GC can come whenever next year I don't mind. Oh my, I was so hung over the day of my bio-metrics and can only imagine the absolute state of my photograph for my GC LOL!!!!

Maybe, I'll work the Irish charm and hope they let me take a decent one haha

I found out why my GC was sent back. USCIS forgot(!) to write the number of our house! That was just the name of the street..so our mailman remembered us and delivered the Welcome back letter, but the GC was there on the 13th already, but it wasn't his shift then and the other postman of course didn't know what to do. I guess now it is going to be delivered back to Missouri and I hope I won't need to go through the process again. :D

NOT only that but people need to have independence and purpose! It really makes me feel like down sometimes as I want to help my husband out financially but I can't. It just breaks my heart to see him sacrificing everything he loved before I came and to downgrade on so much! :(

Totally share your feelings on this. Luckily in Missouri I'm able to drive whilst my AoS is pending, but we seem to have been hit with one financial burden after another this past 6 weeks. Whilst we're still 'comfortable' financially, it really bothers the hell out of me that I can't contribute a damn thing until I have my EAD. I've worked full time since I was 16, even when I was at college for 4 years and I just feel like I'm bumming off my wife (even though legally, they want you to do this until you get EAD, hence the affidavit of support). It's deeply frustrating. I've had countless job offers off quite a few people already but I'm unable legally to take them up on it.

This made me LMAO!! I remember my mum sent me a Xmas Box of UK delights at Christmas. I was like after 3 weeks - where is it? Went to the PO and the lazy postman couldn't be bothered going up to the 4th floor to deliver it. So it was going to be sent back to the UK as apparently there was no one in our apartment that day! Lies... I have no EAD/AP so what else or where else would I be? hahahahaha :P

I feel this pain. We live in an apartment with just 5 other neighbours and our mailbox is right outside. These buildings are totally safe, you can leave stuff outside your door for weeks and it'll still be there untouched. Yet our PO refuses to leave packages for us if it doesn't fit in the mailbox. I've literally overheard her say to another mail guy 'For these apartments I don't normally bother bringing the packages, there is no safe place'. I set the record straight with them, but nothing ever changed. Never thought I'd long for the days of Royal Mail! I do love Informed Delivery though. This needs to be standard everywhere.

I wish we could apply for AOS in a different state, I totally wouldn't mind driving or flying somewhere if it means I could get my GC now instead of maybe 2020.. if I'm lucky  😂

I hear you combo card would be nice! I was not expecting to have the GC in 3 months when I sent the AOS I’m like as long as combo card arrives soon I’ll be so happy but thankfully I got the GC before the combo.

On the day of the interview the IO took a photograph for the GC, good thing I was smiling on it lol.

In the past months keeping myself busy with random stuffs keep me atleast sane, wish I can always come with my husband to his work but that’s not possible all the time lol.😂😂😂

Best of luck! 🙏

Not yet. It didn't even reach Missouri on its way back to them yet. :D But thank you! I hope I will get it eventually. :)

Pretty sure everyone is an MSC filer - the speed of the case completion depends on your local field office though. :)
