My EAD status has just changed to “New card is being produced”

:)

But not making mention of an expedite could start rumors that November filers have started receiving EAD approvals. Please make mention so it's clear and not giving unnecessary hope to your fellow filer's.

Now you've expedited successfully, maybe you could share some tips for those that wish to be successful in doing so too? :P

You hope it only affects people with student or tourist Visa? What a likeable lady, you must get invited to a lot of parties 🙄😶. Everyone who is adjusting have the same right.

Sure, everyone should have the same rights when adjusting. Which is why it is likely to take a little longer for student or tourist adjusters; because they have to provide evidence that their relationship is bonafide, just like the K1 Visa holders have already done.

😂

we have sent a Cover Letter stating that my husband lost his second job and that we are experiencing difficulties with dental care for my son, we sent my Job offer, my husband’s termination Letter from the second (not primary one) job, dental treatment expences for my son who is covered by my husband’s insurance and showed all receipts and sent the future dental treatment recommended by Dental Clinic.

We did not involve any Congressmen.

What is more my k1 took super long time (longer than any other applicants’ k1) and we hired a lawyer who ###### the case up on k1.

This time for AOS and EAD we filed and applied without any lawyer and it got better lol

But also we did not apply for AP which maybe could help as probably it took less time for them to put all files together and process less papers... who knows what is on their mind really...

i wish everyone to get their EAD soon!

😁

Yes. I have requested it on 02 January then faxed evidence on 7 January. Then called multiple times. Today in the morning called again.

Congrats! You're very lucky! Now go start rolling in the dough.😁

Did you accept your job offer prior to obtaining the ead? In other words, are you "allowed" to accept a job offer even without an ead in hand, as long as you don't start working until you have the ead

The Company gives you a certain timeframe to accept the job at least in my case they stated something like “The job offer is valid for bla bla time and non acceptance of it will be considered as refusal etc”

Of course I do, even though I hate parties. I hope people who don't wait for K1 or CR1 and get married on a tourist visa will be lucky again not to wait and get their AOS fater than those who do! Everyone has the same right, some are just smarter than the rest.

Oh I would hope so. I mean I know someone who decided to use a ESTA and have this wonderful wedding. When I met them a while back they said they didn't bother with the K1/CR-1. You could imagine my absolute anger on behalf of people who do things correctly and follow the law to a T. Now, I'm not saying that certain 'surprises' can't magically happen but I don't buy personally - how people can just up route their whole life and just decide to marry and then do AOS from an ESTA!! Obviously intentions are identified at POE but come on, like seriously?!! I don't buy it. Sorry, I really hope I don't offend anyone.

Feel your pain here! They think it's easy, so why bother...And then people did everything right and wait for years to get AOS

Congratulations!

I'm glad it worked out for you. I tried to expedite my EAD based on a job offer on January 9, faxed over the documents on the 10th after receiving an e-mail from USCIS and am still waiting on a decision. Had two senators offices contact USCIS and that hasn't helped either. I even faxed over a second offer letter I received last week hoping they grant it asap.

At this point does anyone think it would be a better idea to contact USCIS and raise a new,, separate expedite case for the new job offer and see if that helps? What do you all think?

I personally think you shouldn't expedite another job offer. I think they'll get the point. I mean they are probably up to their eyes as many do try their luck with expedites. I think you should just be a little more patient lol. Think of all us non expedites having to wait forever :P
