My husband won't let me walk either - same reasons. It's just not the done thing...so now I'm getting out of shape instead

Oh I'm totally going out of shape. I go to the gym and burns all these calories but yet I'm not thinner! I miss being on the go, which is when I was at my best! I can't even walk around much of where we live! I can never predict what goes through drivers minds here so avoid cross walks at all costs LOL

It turned into a Bristish chat here 😂 😂

Well I just got an update from my case tracker "Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview" 🙌🙌

I know it's not the end of the journey but after 90 days of "fingerprint fee was received" That's a good progress. At least I know that my case made its way to the local office 😀

Didn't updated yet on MyUSCIS but those things act however they want.

Nice. I'm at 83 days

I'm not from the UK, but agree with almost everthing you say, guys :))

Public transport is a big thing! I'm lucky we live in a pretty little town and it is possible to walk around and there are loads of parks and forests for those who like walking.

As for the food.. I miss a variety of berries (some are even banned from growing here😯), variety of grains for porridge, good quality veggetables (here all of them taste like plastic to me unless organic), fish and most of all chocolate! I was surprised to see a tiny section in even big stores..And the brands like Lindt and other chocolate from Europe is completely different with different ingredients..But it's great there are international stores where it's possible to get something we are used to.

Our interview is in a week and there is not really much of what we can show as proof.

The difference in taste with the Lindt is crazy! And Cadbury's...my mum keeps sending over care packages. I'm a little jealous that you live in a small town - I moved to a city so everything seems to be so crowded and yet so far away all at the same time; definitely don't want to to stay living in one for the rest of my life! I agree on the vegetables too - food in general...everything tastes so sweet to me, it's weird.

Good luck with your interview! I'm sure you will be fine; as long as you have some pictures, a little bit of evidence and are genuine, I'm pretty sure that's all the officer will be looking for. They can't expect you to have a ton of evidence, after all, because you've only recently moved here as far as they are concerned! It will be removal of conditions that they want a small forest of evidence, but you'll have two years for that! ;)

There's hope, I was at the same point and suddenly got 2 updates in a row ;) It still depends how busy your field office is and you might have to wait longer but I'm sure things are moving on, just the status were not updating.

It’s Newark so not too fast. Congratulations and all the best with your interview.

Harlingen says 9 to 31.5 and Newark 11 to 21.5 months, not a huge difference compared Dallas, NYC, or Los Angeles and others who are crazy busy offices! So maybe 1 months or 2 and you'll get your interview notice maybe!

And thank you :)

Oof, just checked Jacksonville and the processing time for family applications has gone up to 12 to 23 Months. How accurate that is I have no idea, but yuck! :(

Unless they're just standardising it across the board...
