64 days for me, I called USCIS yesterday and they told me they received the fingerprint review or something like that so I guess it's just the status that doesn't update.

If you’d be able to send over the number you used to contact them I’d appreciate it :) although I’m in no rush, I’d like that option if need be in a few weeks as I am seeing several peoples status’ changing!

My husband's biometrics were done on December 13th and we are still seeing "Fingerprint Fee Received" as well. Fingers crossed it switches over soon since the Kansas City office has a pretty quick wait time for interviews.

I should think so! Fingers crossed for sure. I’m pretty sure mines just because it was filed at CSC & that’s gotta be the busiest one :(

Got biometrics done yesterday afternoon! Question for ya'll - over the last few months of AOS threads some say that their status changes after their biometrics appointment, how soon does that happen? I realize many people dont get any sort of any update. Also - for those who have had to get their prints re-done, how long after were you notified of that? And last question - if we haven't received notification of any additional evidence required, is it safe to assume no RFE's? Thanks!!

No one can say how soon or how long till status changes, every case is different. A lot of these cases we see that are changing to “ready to schedule” are at smaller (not as busy) filing offices. (Unsure about reprints, going off what others say here I’d say a few weeks?)

And although you’re probably safe from no RFE, never assume! Never say never haha. Who knows with how busy USCIS offices are, it’s easy for them to misplace or lose something - I’ve seen it happen far too often.

I just call the number that I found on google for the USCIS customer service, then I press options 1-2-2-2 and # and I'm transferred to an USCIS agent. ;)

Why did you get four I-797 NOA's?  We only got three.  Our case has been saying ready to be scheduled for an interview for 1 week now.  Hopefully, the interview gets scheduled soon.

Is anyone else waiting a long time to receive the biometrics appointment letter? We were having mail delivery problems at our place so I called USCIS just to make sure that they hadn't sent it and she said they still haven't sent it out!

It's been about 6 weeks 😐

San Diego, California btw!

Update. Tonight I finally got a case update and it says ready to be scheduled for interview, this is after having to redo my biometrics. First biometrics appointment was Dec.4, a week before Xmas I got a letter for yet another biometrics appointment. Second biometrics appointment was last Friday, Jan 4. So, what are the chances that I’ll get my AP/EAD still?

I have a question for anyone who knows the rule regarding medical. I didn’t send my medical when I sent my package, I’m not K1. My question is can I do my medical now that I got my case updated to ready for interview?

So, what are the chances that I’ll get my AP/EAD still? Depends on when you actually get an interview. Sone offices take months while others take years. EAD/AP just takes 4 to 6 months. Either way the EAD/AP will no longer process once your GC has been issued.

I have a question for anyone who knows the rule regarding medical. I didn’t send my medical when I sent my package, I’m not K1. My question is can I do my medical now that I got my case updated to ready for interview? I would wait until you have been scheduled. "Ready for interview etc" just means it's been transferred to your LFO and you will now sit in line to wait for an interview. Could take months, could take years.

@K1visaHopeful thank you for your reply. I’ll take your advice regarding getting my medical. I asked coz I want to make sure I have enough time to complete my medical.

It doesn't take a whole lot time. :)

@Pengunista No it doesnt. Just do some research on pricing for CS's near you now while are waiting so you can select a doctor now and be ready to call to make an appt the moment your interview is scheduled.

This may have been answered already (sorry!) - how do we know if we need another medical done? Is that something they tell us is required within the AOS/I-485 interview notice, or at the interview? I know in theory if you already had a medical done and the vaccination record showed you were compliant with all necessary vaccines, and it was completed within a year of your AOS interview date (which may be the case for some lucky K1's), then we dont have to get another one? But at what point would they tell you if you have to do it again? Has there been a trend for this requirement? I came as a K1 and my medical done in MTL in October 2018. I don't have my whole file from that medical exam, the POE CBP does/I guess that makes it part of my existing USCIS file? I only have a copy of my vaccination record from that appointment and the CD of my xrays. Any who just curious what trends others have seen these days ...
