I'm a little confused and afraid I missed something in this process. I've had my fingerprints taken (12/12) and haven't heard anything through mail since. I haven't signed up for the USCIS website yet because I dont wanna keep checking my case status (I did that plenty throughout the K1 process). 

 

My question is, am I supposed to make an account? And am I supposed to schedule an interview myself from there or will USCIS do that for me?

If you take a sneak-peak at your case online via https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do , you might see it's on the next line 'Interview ready to be scheduled'. Just like @K1visaHopeful said, you can then relax and wait on them for the schedule. Nothing to worry about. Good luck.

My husband went on 12/20 and his status is still at fee received as well. I'm assuming some offices just take longer than others, I wouldn't worry too much.

Mine is at 61 days of fingerprint fee was received. Sometimes it doesn't change even if they are already ready to schedule an interview.

Update, so I had my biometrics Dec 4, days before Xmas I got a letter for yet another biometrics appointment. It says that the FBI was not able to process my fingerprint card. So yesterday I went to my biometrics appointment. The lady that was taking my fingerprint said that I have too many lines on the aos it’s hard to read or see a full finger print. She even said “ you wash your hands a lot”. Duh yeah. Who doesn’t? But anyway, she said if this doesn’t work this time around that I might need to get a police clearance. So does anyone here know anything about getting a police clearance? I’m still hoping that this second biometrics works, but to be on the safe side I would like to get the police clearance in the event that I need it.

I am happy and a little startled too. After a simple K1 case that took 11 month, AOS seems to work rather fast.

Sent the documents November 13, they got it November 15, NOAs from November 21, Biometrics done December 21, Ready to schedule December 27, Interview sheduled January 3, no mail yet though. Will it really work as fast this time?!

I'm wondering the same thing as well.  4 days ago we got ready to schedule interview.  Hopefully, we have interview date soon.

Is it really possible to get the green card before the AP/EAD combo card?  If that is the case do we even need the AP card then to travel out of the country since we would have the green card then?

For some field offices you can get your GC before your EAD/AP, in this case they cancel the EAD/AP application since your GC allows you to work and leave the US.

I’ve had fingerprint fee received for 55~ days, had biometrics on the 10th Dec & still at that status too

My husband's biometrics were done on December 13th and we are still seeing "Fingerprint Fee Received" as well. Fingers crossed it switches over soon since the Kansas City office has a pretty quick wait time for interviews.

Got biometrics done yesterday afternoon! Question for ya'll - over the last few months of AOS threads some say that their status changes after their biometrics appointment, how soon does that happen? I realize many people dont get any sort of any update. Also - for those who have had to get their prints re-done, how long after were you notified of that? And last question - if we haven't received notification of any additional evidence required, is it safe to assume no RFE's? Thanks!!

One week after we did biometrics our case status changed to "Ready to schedule interview".  Not sure about your other questions...maybe someone else knows.

64 days for me, I called USCIS yesterday and they told me they received the fingerprint review or something like that so I guess it's just the status that doesn't update.
