Hey guys,

So had my biometrics last Friday a week ago and my status changed to Ready to schedule an interview on Wednesday. Let the 15 months (minimum) wait until I actually get an interview at Las Vegas LMAO. Las Vegas is busy-I'd imagine as it is a desirable place to live.

Hello everyone,

I'm a November filer as well.

NOA1 for AOS and AP is Nov, 26

NOA1 for EAD is Nov,28

My field office is Long Island, NY.

Had my biometrics on Dec, 19 and my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview since December,26.

I just hope the wait won't be too long!

At this pace, you will not get the EAD/AP.  And that is fine. Take the time to meticulously craft your Table of Contents, list your evidence of bona fide marriage, and provide a short explanation of what your evidence is proof of.

Shoot for an approval on the spot. And do not be shy to ask for the I-551 stamp.

All the best,

USC4SPOUSE

hi. sorry to interfere but I saw the I-551 stamp and I searched for what it means and I just wanna make sure that I got it right: is it a stamp that acknowledge that you were approved for a green card but you did not receive it yet? so it's like a phase between getting approved and receiving the actual card?  thanks

Exactly. You can ask for the IO to stamp it at your GC interview but more often than not they will not issue you an I551 as most will declare that your application will be undergoing further examination before it is officially approved.

We just got a letter saying that we have insufficient evidence and will be scheduled for an interview because the civil surgeon medical form was more than 60 days from application. It wasn’t it was done in Belgium a month before we submitted the aos, we didn’t have a copy because they took it when we entered on the k1. Has anyone encountered this?

All K1s undergo a Greencard interview. Your medical documents that are in your file from your K1 will be pulled out at your interview to confirm they are still valid and complete. This is normal unless it is an RFE stating something else.

Anyone else submit an RFE in December? Has your USCIS status online changed yet?  Mine just states evidence received Dec 10.  This is our first time receiving an RFE throughout this process.  How long does it normally push back your app?

Hi guys,

I am also a November filer. I came on K1 and applied for I-485, AP, and EAD on Nov 16. So far, my biometrics are complete (Dec. 20). The status online shows that my case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

I applied from Riverside, California. Is my field office San Bernardino? Does anyone know how to find the office that will process the application as I have no clue on what's the tentative timeline for me as per my respective field office.

Good luck to all 😊

I'm at 6 weeks for the status of "all fingerprints were taken and case is in process". Still no "fingerprint review complete" or "Ready to be scheduled...".

My "fingerprint fee was received" status lasted 5 weeks.

Hey everybody

I'm a little confused and afraid I missed something in this process. I've had my fingerprints taken (12/12) and haven't heard anything through mail since. I haven't signed up for the USCIS website yet because I dont wanna keep checking my case status (I did that plenty throughout the K1 process).

My question is, am I supposed to make an account? And am I supposed to schedule an interview myself from there or will USCIS do that for me?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance! :)

Supposed to? No but you can if you want to check your status updates.

Once your AOS application has made it through the NBC processing it will be sent to your local field office and will become "ready for an interview". Once that happens, you will wait in line for your LFO to schedule an interview for you. It can take a month or years, but they will schedule it for you.
