Are anyone's cases through the National Benefits Center? Day 187 for us. Attempted "outside normal processing time" and discovered ours is at NBC which is 5-7 months processing time :(

All EAD/AP applications are processed through NBC. The AOS applications start at NBC then are forwarded to your local field office.

We’re on day 180 for EAD/AP and still haven’t heard anything either. Our AOS is ready to be scheduled for an interview but it’s been at that status for just over a month now and can stay that way for another few months. We’re in NJ.

167 here ahhh.. my husband and I want to plan our trip to see his family in Spain this summer and the more and more the time passes the more expensive tickets get. He started applying for jobs this past week, taking into consideration that the interview process for more qualified positions will probably be a good 2 month process already..

Matt finally got through to USCIS today asking them about our idiotic RFIE.

Apparently the tier 2 person he talked to thought the request was "a little ridiculous and amusing". Good thing I was not on the phone because I would have ripped them a new one for thinking it was amusing. But Matt also knows how to stay calm because he was able to get more information in doing so where as I would have been kicked off the line. Anywho... according to her they are processing EAD/AP for October 21st which is a week ahead of what their website says. She thinks we should have it by the end of the month. Granted, a month and a half ago when complaining about previously mentioned many-times-over-RFIE to the LFO via an info pass, they had predicted a green card interview by mid-May, which is clearly not happening. She also said that based on what Matt told her about his parents health conditions, he should be able to get one-time emergency AP. Not ideal, but definitely a last minute option (although I think it still costs an extra $350).

Forever feeling like 🤷‍♀️

How frustrating....I feel your pain! So does that mean all applications before 21st October have been dealt with now? That is some reassuring news if so!

I really doubt all petitions before October 21 have been dealt with. Thats probably just their internal "out of processing" date. Give the public a week of wiggle room though.
