Unfortunately, there is no rhyme or reason to how these cases are being reviewed and approved. It definitely depends on the work load for each field office.

I mailed our AOS package on Nov. 20th. We have a Nov 23rd receipt date and a Nov 29th NOA1 date.

The EAD was a approved April 9th. The status change to Card Produced April 23rd...a status notification was received again April 29th with no actual status update. May 2nd - the card has been mailed.

The AP case still shows Case Approved as of April 9th. I've heard; however, my husband will receive a combo card for EAD/AP.

The AOS case has been 'Ready to Schedule Interview' since February 14th.

We are praying for delivery of this work card in the next week.

Hey! Congrats on the card moving to mailed. Have you received your tracking number yet?

Mine's didn't update until 2 days after when it was due for delivery with a tracking number. Some do get it the following day. If you haven't got it yet I'd use the 'Ask Emma' incon on the USCIS site. I got it straight away from them even before my app updated with it.

I would hazard a guess to say you may get it on Saturday or Monday :)

Hi,

Does anyone here lives in Chicago contacted the Congressman/Senator/Ombudsman to seek help

for expediting their Combo card? If yes, can you share me how? Did it really expedited?

Thank you much for your response.

yeah they seem to be offline

Casetracker pushed a notification about updates this morning. Real bummer case I had been awake for all of a minute before my heart skipped a beat in excitement only to be followed up with soul crushing disappointment.

Ah that’s what it was 😭! I couldn’t see the notification and then couldn’t login for ages. I also experienced soul crushing disappointment in the form of “Case was received”. Getting so fed up with the wait, it’s so hard not being able to work or see loved ones. Day 172...

I know I shouldn't be looking too much into things, but when I did a scan in the app I noticed that both the  cases before and after mine have had (what are likely) their combo cards approved. Is there any trend in interpreting this? Should I be expecting news soon or is it really just random? -_-

Fingers crossed for you guys!!!!!
