Really? Still no new approvals this week? I'm surprised, and dismayed. I suppose there's always tomorrow... :clock:

I did see some new October approvals which is SUPER exciting for those individuals, especially with wait times of ~190 days! ugh.

Makes me want to poke my eyes out at the thought of re-applying for an extension LOL. I probably will some stage in October I think. Hopefully, they reduce processing times back down to 4-6 months.

Vegas is currrently running 13.5-19 months I think, so I'd hope to have an interview by the time this EAD expires as I'll be running around 17 months then. Things could change as we know and Vegas could delay GC interviews even further.

Either way I'll be applying for an EAD extension to cover myself for sure!

Ugh, I'm sorry to hear the wait is so long in Vegas! We're in Nashville and ours is almost that long too -- Frustrating! Hope you get your interview sooner than that!

You're the same received date as me? - 11/23...

I just done a mini scan (not full as I was changing songs on my spotify lol) and seen 2 cases approved today with 11/23 received date. I'd rely on case tracker scanning more than vj as people don't always update nor are a member of vj

Thanks!! Us too... Keeping our fingers cross all day, every day in the meantime! We're hoping to make a trip over to England to see friends and family at some point this summer. Hopefully we can still make it happen! :jest:

This is true, I have been checking scans and there is movement in around my dates. I just wish my community of VJ'ers were some of the people benefiting from that movement ;)

For anyone who has received their EAD/AP combo card; is the expiration date based from your NOA1 or the date it was approved?

My concern is that for some individuals with very slow LFO (17-36 months processing times) that they would be required to apply for an EAD extension if they haven't been scheduled a GC interview

I came across an article online which suggested some people received EAD which was backdated to their NOA1 (see below)

https://blavity.com/immigrants-are-facing-crisis-level-processing-delays-under-trump-and-the-consequences-are-wreaking-havoc

The EAD expiry is one year from the date of approval. This is fake news and sounds like it could be talking about renewals taking so long (which is what it sounds like).
